Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) has relaunched Hyatt Leverage, its online business travel platform for small-and-midsize companies, now powered by the Travel-as-a-Service platform Spotnana and offering preferred rates across more than 1,300 Hyatt hotels worldwide.

The redesigned platform, announced from Hyatt's Chicago headquarters, consolidates booking, reservation management, travel spend tracking and payments in one place. Eligible clients book through www.hyatt.com/leverage, replacing a fragmented process that previously spread corporate travel administration across multiple tools.

What does the platform actually include?

Hyatt Leverage's core benefits fall into three groups:

  • All-in-one travel management — book, view and manage reservations, travel spend and payments in a single centralized system.
  • Exclusive rates at 1,300+ Hyatt hotels — preferred room rates across Hyatt's five brand portfolios globally, spanning Classics brands such as Hyatt Regency and Essentials extended-stay brands like Hyatt Studios.
  • World of Hyatt loyalty benefits — both administrators and traveling employees earn points on eligible travel, redeemable for free nights, suite upgrades and World of Hyatt FIND experiences.

Spotnana, the underlying Travel-as-a-Service provider, enables the integrated booking experience — a technology swap that gives Hyatt's SMB segment modern booking infrastructure without clients paying for separate travel management software.

Who qualifies, and what are the thresholds?

Eligibility comes with firm criteria. Clients must be legally organized in their country of origin, qualify as a small-or-midsize business, and produce a minimum of 50 actualized room nights per year. Bookings made through travel agencies, consortia or other online booking tools do not count — Hyatt Leverage is direct-channel only, which protects rate integrity and keeps the booking relationship inside Hyatt's own system. Select existing Leverage clients have already been migrated to the new platform, and current users must contact a Hyatt representative or reapply for eligibility.

Why the SMB segment matters to Hyatt

Hyatt framed the segment as long-standing and critical, both to its own hotels and to the broader global business travel market. Alice Harrington-Caravello, Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Americas Commercial Services at Hyatt, said the company builds the tools by listening: "We continuously listen to our customers and guests, guided by our purpose of care, to adapt and introduce tools that better meet their needs." She noted that today's travelers want greater personalization, collaboration and a seamless experience.

Client testimonials point to the pricing and administration case rather than brand preference. Stacy Slater, EVP of Investor Relations, Capital Markets & Corporate Strategy at Brixmor Property Group, said: "Hyatt Leverage offers a compelling combination of discounted rates, global reach, and flexibility, helping us manage travel efficiently while delivering a strong experience for our employees." Hasan Ehtisham, Director of Firm Management at Quantbot Technologies LP, said the platform is helping "make travel management easier, with more access and better value for our employees globally."

Thousands of clients worldwide already book team travel through Leverage, according to the company.

Scale behind the program

The platform sits on top of a substantial portfolio. As of June 30, 2024, Hyatt's portfolio included more than 1,350 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 78 countries across six continents, spanning the Timeless, Boundless, Independent and Inclusive collections. Subsidiaries also operate the World of Hyatt loyalty program, ALG Vacations, Mr & Mrs Smith, Unlimited Vacation Club, Amstar DMC and Trisept Solutions.

With the Spotnana-powered relaunch, direct SMB bookings, centralized spend oversight and loyalty accrual now run through a single Hyatt-owned channel — a structure the company can scale as corporate travel demand recovers.
