Accor adds IDeaS Optix as a referenced tool for 5,800-plus hotels
Accor has selected IDeaS’ Optix business intelligence tool for more than 5,800 hotels in 110-plus countries, extending IDeaS’ role as the group’s revenue-management system of record.

Accor has selected IDeaS’ Optix business intelligence solution for its more than 5,800 hotels in 110-plus countries, adding the tool to the company’s referenced technology options, the companies said Oct. 29, 2026.
The selection extends a relationship in which IDeaS already serves as Accor’s revenue management system of record. Optix adds business-intelligence functions without replacing that core role.
IDeaS, a SAS company, issued the announcement from Paris and Minneapolis. Optix connects into Accor’s existing commercial technology stack to streamline reporting and surface performance insights, rather than create another reporting layer.
What does Optix change for Accor hotels?
For hotel teams, Optix replaces manual report compilation and the assembly of disconnected data with faster access to trusted commercial performance information. The tool shows what is happening, which issues deserve attention and where teams should act next, at both individual-property and portfolio levels.
For owners of Accor hotels, the stated benefits include quicker day-to-day decisions, tighter alignment between property and portfolio priorities, and clearer visibility into the factors driving performance. The announcement does not say whether every hotel must adopt the tool, how adoption may differ between company-operated and franchised properties, or which party bears the cost.
IDeaS designed Optix as a flexible, modular product for Accor’s economy-to-luxury hotel segments and brands. IDeaS and Accor say the joint commercial goals are:
- Give teams a comprehensive, trusted view of performance, with sharper focus on what drives results.
- Reduce time spent pulling data and compiling reports, leaving more time for commercial strategy.
- Identify opportunities earlier and respond as demand and market conditions change.
- Work with existing commercial systems and workflows without adding complexity.
- Connect performance insight directly to strategy, supporting better-informed decisions and more sustainable profitability.
The operator-level case rests on reducing reporting effort and shortening the interval between identifying a commercial change and acting on it. The companies say fragmented reporting, disconnected systems and time-consuming analyses can delay understanding, delay action, cause missed opportunities and make decisions harder to defend.
The announcement offers no labor-hour savings, software pricing, implementation-cost data, rollout schedule or quantified revenue and margin gains. Those omissions leave operators without a baseline for measuring the tool’s financial value or determining when a broader deployment could produce returns.
Dr. Ravi Mehrotra, IDeaS co-founder and chief scientist, said: “Too many hotel teams still spend significant time manually compiling reports and piecing together disconnected data sources just to understand performance.
Optix was designed to eliminate that friction by giving hotels fast access to trusted commercial insights that help teams make faster, more confident commercial decisions. We’re incredibly proud to continue expanding our relationship with Accor and support its hotels with business intelligence capabilities purpose-built for the realities of modern hospitality operations.”
Accor Chief Sales & Revenue Officer Julien Houdebine said:
“As we continue to scale Accor’s commercial engine globally, our priority is to give our hotels and partners the right insights to make faster, better-informed decisions. Optix will help simplify access to performance data, enabling hotel teams to identify opportunities, adapt their commercial strategies and ultimately drive stronger performance.”
IDeaS describes itself as the world’s leading provider of AI-powered hospitality revenue-management software. Its AI-driven products go beyond forecasting and pricing to optimize revenue, boost profitability and improve efficiency. The company serves independent hotels, resorts, global chains, cruise lines and parking brands and reports more than 34,000 installations globally. That installed base extends well beyond Accor and does not show how many Accor properties will use Optix.
The next test is property-level adoption: if Optix shortens reporting cycles and improves commercial responses, the expanded IDeaS-Accor relationship could support stronger performance across Accor’s 5,800-plus-hotel network. The announcement supplies no results with which to measure that outcome.
