Thynk and Meetingselect Automate Corporate RFP-to-Proposal Flow for Hotels

Thynk's new Meetingselect integration, live October 13, 2026, converts corporate MICE RFPs into scored, real-time e-proposals with no manual data entry for hotels.

Hotels using Thynk's commercial and operations platform can now receive corporate RFPs from Meetingselect's marketplace and turn them into e-proposals automatically, with no manual data entry between submission and response. The integration went live October 13, 2026, and is available now to all Thynk hotel and venue clients.

The partnership connects Thynk, a Brussels-based commercial and operations platform built on Salesforce, to Meetingselect's network of corporate bookers and procurement teams across Europe, the USA and APAC. Meetingselect claims the world's largest venue database — 500,000 venues across 150 countries.

Here's what changes mechanically for a hotel sales team. When a booker submits an RFP through Meetingselect, Thynk automatically maps the event information and converts it into a structured Inquiry. Thynk's Lead Qualification Index then scores and routes the opportunity to the right property, and the system generates an e-proposal reflecting the property's real-time inventory and commercial terms. Sales staff review, edit if needed, and submit the proposal directly from Thynk.

What does this replace? The manual re-keying and lead triage that previously sat between an RFP's arrival and proposal creation — the unglamorous bottleneck where MICE leads have historically stalled.

"Corporate RFP platforms have transformed how MICE business is sourced, but hotel sales teams still experience significant challenges in turning leads into actionable sales opportunities," said Pascal Petit, CEO at Thynk. "Our partnership with Meetingselect provides our hotel clients with access to more corporate demand and provides their teams with structured, accurate information they need to act on winning the business immediately."

Anne Ruiter, Director of Technology Partnerships at Meetingselect, framed the buyer-side benefit: "By receiving accurate, property-specific proposal responses to bookers' RFPs more quickly, it dramatically improves the sourcing experience, while helping hotels and event spaces close more business sourced through our global marketplace."

Who pays, and what's the play?

The announcement doesn't disclose commercial terms — whether hotels pay a per-RFP fee, a subscription premium for the integration, or nothing beyond existing Thynk licenses. What's clear is the strategic logic on both sides: Thynk gets its clients plugged into high-intent corporate demand, and Meetingselect gets faster, more accurate proposal responses flowing back to procurement teams, which improves repeat usage of its marketplace.

For hotel operators, the economics argument is labor conversion. Sales and catering teams spend significant hours copying RFP details into systems, qualifying leads by gut feel, and assembling proposals by hand. Automating that pipeline compresses response time — a decisive variable in corporate sourcing, where the first credible, accurate proposal often frames the shortlist.

The partnership also tracks a broader industry shift. The companies position the deal as part of a move away from disparate, disconnected RFP distribution channels and manual proposal creation toward automated commercial workflows built on integrated platforms — a push aimed squarely at productivity and profitability in the meetings and events segment, where group and events revenue has become an outsized share of many full-service hotels' top line.

Whether the integration actually lifts conversion rates will depend on adoption by Thynk's client base and on how aggressively Meetingselect's corporate buyers reward faster responses. For now, hotels on both platforms can test the automation immediately.
