Hyatt Signs for Two Hyatt Regency Hotels, 600 Rooms in Bengaluru
Hyatt signed management agreements with Brigade Group for two Hyatt Regency hotels in Bengaluru — roughly 600 rooms across mixed-use developments at Brigade Global Park and Whitefield-Kadugodi Road.

Hyatt has signed management agreements for two new Hyatt Regency hotels in Bengaluru that together will add roughly 600 rooms to one of India's fastest-growing corporate travel markets.
Both properties will sit inside large-scale mixed-use developments built by Brigade Group, a Bengaluru-based developer, and both will run under Hyatt management rather than ownership — the structure Hyatt uses to grow its brand footprint while a local partner carries the real estate. The deal deepens an existing relationship between the two companies in India.
Where will the hotels sit?
The larger of the two, Hyatt Regency Bengaluru at Brigade Global Park, is planned with approximately 350 guestrooms and suites inside Brigade Group's 25-acre Global Park integrated advanced engineering and business ecosystem. Its meetings-and-events inventory totals roughly 25,000 square feet, plus multiple dining venues — a configuration aimed squarely at corporate groups and conference demand rather than pure leisure traffic.
The second property, Hyatt Regency Bengaluru on Whitefield-Kadugodi Road, is planned at approximately 250 guestrooms and suites within a premium mixed-use destination on Brigade's upcoming integrated township. Its centerpiece is a ballroom spanning more than 10,000 square feet, flanked by a large pre-function area and additional meeting spaces, alongside extensive food and beverage offerings.
The management agreements were signed with two Brigade entities: Brigade Estates and Projects Private Limited for the Global Park hotel, and Ananthay Properties Private Limited for the Whitefield-Kadugodi Road property.
What does this change for Bengaluru's hotel market?
It adds branded, group-scale inventory to a market that Hyatt identifies as a strategic gateway for its India growth. Vikas Chawla, President, India & Southwest Asia at Hyatt, said: "Bengaluru continues to demonstrate strong demand across business travel, meetings and events, making it a strategic market for Hyatt's brand growth in India."
The amenity mix at both hotels points at blended demand: an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a grab-and-go outlet, a rooftop bar, a pool bar, fitness facilities and flexible event spaces. That's menu engineering for a market where business travelers, weddings and social celebrations, and leisure guests overlap.
Nirupa Shankar, Joint Managing Director of Brigade Group, framed the deal in developer economics: "The signing of two Hyatt Regency hotels at our upcoming mixed-use developments represents another important step in strengthening our hospitality portfolio in Bengaluru. Both hotels will be part of larger integrated developments that bring together multiple asset classes."
Context on Hyatt's scale
Hyatt Hotels Corporation, headquartered in Chicago, reported a portfolio of more than 1,350 hotels and all-inclusive properties across 78 countries as of June 30, 2024. Hyatt Regency sits in its Timeless Collection alongside Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Place. For Bengaluru, the two signings follow the same playbook Hyatt has applied across high-growth Indian gateway cities: partner with a local developer, drop the flag into a mixed-use masterplan, and let the surrounding commercial ecosystem supply the demand base.
