Flight Club Opens Second Texas Venue, 8,000 Sq. Ft., in Addison Oct. 23
State of Play Hospitality opens its second Texas Flight Club on Oct. 23 in Addison: 8,000 square feet, 12 oches, 400-guest capacity and DFW's first Social Darts venue.

State of Play Hospitality will open its second Flight Club venue in Texas on Friday, Oct. 23, at Village on the Parkway in Addison — the Social Darts concept's first entry into the Dallas-Fort Worth metro.
The 8,000-square-foot space at 5100 Belt Line Road accommodates up to 400 guests across 12 semi-private playing areas, known as oches, and two patios. Each oche seats up to 12 guests with its own dartboard, dedicated seating and tableside service; larger groups can reserve multiple oches.
What does the technology replace?
The core of the concept is Flight Club's proprietary Social Darts system, which automatically scores every throw and runs fast-paced multiplayer games for groups of varying sizes and skill levels. The system replaces manual scorekeeping — the traditional friction point of pub darts — and shifts the activity toward organized group play, the format that drives per-head spending in competitive socializing venues.
The food and bar program
The chef-driven menu is engineered for sharing between throws: flatbreads, sliders and tacos, with options covering different dietary preferences. The bar pours classic and signature cocktails made with premium spirits, wine and locally sourced draft beers. Every signature cocktail can be built without alcohol at the same presentation standard — a menu structure that keeps non-drinkers inside the revenue stream rather than outside it.
Why Addison, and why now
"Addison always felt like an excellent fit for our first Flight Club in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro," said Toby Harris, president and CEO of State of Play Hospitality, which operates Flight Club in North America under license. "Its central location, thriving dining and entertainment scene, and local corporate community made Addison a natural choice."
Harris noted the site search took time: "Ever since we opened Flight Club in Houston in 2021, we've been patiently searching for the right site in Dallas-Fort Worth, so this is a special moment for the team."
Design and group business
The venue layers Flight Club's Victorian fairground and British pub aesthetic with Dallas-specific references — an illuminated Pegasus in the leather-studded Pegasus Room, plus Western landscapes, horses and State Fair of Texas motifs in the artwork. Spaces include a main bar, the Pegasus Room and an orangery-inspired playing area with trellis, greenery and hanging birdcages that opens onto the back patio.
Corporate and private events get dedicated support: customizable food and beverage packages, tournament-style gameplay and private or semi-private configurations — a segment the Addison corporate community was chosen to feed.
Recurring programming and pricing
Flight Fridays begin at 7 p.m. every Friday with live DJ sets, challenge games and prize and bar-tab giveaways. Daily happy hour runs 4 to 6 p.m. with $2 off draft beer, liquor and wine by the glass, plus specialty cocktail pricing.
With Houston open since 2021 and Addison now set, State of Play has established a two-market Texas footprint for the licensed North American operation — and the pace of the four-year DFW site search suggests the next location will hinge, as this one did, on finding the right real estate rather than moving on a fixed expansion clock.
