Duetto will deploy its revenue management system across B&B Hotels' full portfolio of more than 930 properties in 19 countries, in one of the largest revenue management rollouts in European hospitality.

The San Francisco-based vendor won the contract after a competitive RFP process, beating rival platforms on three criteria: ease of use at scale, performance capability built for limited-service hotels, and a commitment to evolving with its customers. B&B Hotels, one of Europe's fastest-growing economy chains, is running a broader digital transformation program that includes standardizing revenue management across the group to support individual hotels and open new revenue opportunities.

For a limited-service operator running lean staffing models, the economics of the deal are straightforward. The system replaces manual pricing administration with real-time visibility into total revenue and operational costs, allowing dynamic adjustments to pricing and forecasting at every property. In an economy segment where labor percentage and cost control determine whether a property clears its margin targets, that automation removes administrative headcount pressure rather than adding to it.

What does this change for B&B Hotels' pricing?

The group gains a unified view of revenue and profit performance across 930+ properties, standardizing what has historically been a property-by-property discipline. B&B Hotels is also evaluating how Duetto's broader Revenue & Profit Operating System — its direction of travel toward a full revenue-and-profit view — can support longer-term commercial ambitions.

David Garcia, Global COO of B&B Hotels, framed the selection around scale and margin: "We have a strong focus on profitability across our properties, and this is where Duetto shone as adding the most value. The platform will further support us in delivering our mission to provide the highest value on core essentials for the best price."

He added that the group wanted "a partner that is able to scale alongside us and fully support B&B Hotels in our continued expansion" following a thorough RFP process.

Michael Schäffner, Chief Sales Officer at Duetto, emphasized the scale of the deployment: "930+ hotels. 19 countries. A business growing fast and determined to make every property perform. We're here to help B&B build a genuine revenue culture across that portfolio — giving every team the tools to price right, forecast accurately, and grow the bottom line."

Who pays, and what the platform replaces

B&B Hotels pays for an enterprise group-wide license covering its full portfolio. What the RMS replaces is fragmented, manually administered pricing and forecasting work — the system consolidates it into one platform with demand signals, intelligent pricing, forecasting, group business management, and P&L benchmarking through Duetto's HotStats. Duetto already serves more than 20,000 properties worldwide.

B&B Hotels joins other large hotel groups on Duetto's platform, including Meliá, Minor Americas and Europe, Motel One and Strawberry Hotels.

The operator behind the deal

B&B Hotels, founded in Brest in 1990, is Europe's second-largest hotel chain and its fastest-growing, with nearly 800 hotels across 17 countries in Europe and the U.S., according to the company's own corporate profile — a figure that sits alongside the 930+ property count cited for the Duetto rollout. The brand posted $1.3 billion in revenue in 2023. Fabrice Collet has served as President and CEO since 2016; Goldman Sachs became the principal shareholder in 2019, and Valerio Duchini has held the U.S. CEO role since 2023.

Duetto's differentiation in the RFP turned on profitability rather than revenue alone — a positioning that matched B&B Hotels' stated commercial focus. As the rollout proceeds across the 19-country portfolio, the test will be whether standardized, profit-oriented revenue management can hold rate discipline at scale while the group continues to expand.
