Avalora's Cloud PBX now connects to more than 250 hotel systems through a completed integration with iLink, the middleware platform built by TigerTMS, the two companies announced.

The direct PMS-PBX integration lets hotels exchange key guest data automatically between the property management system and the phone system: guest names, external calling permissions, voicemail and messaging, and housekeeping status. That removes the manual entry that front desk staff otherwise perform at check-in and throughout the stay.

What does the integration replace?

For hotels running legacy PBX hardware, guest-name display, calling restrictions and room-status updates typically require separate interfaces or staff keystrokes at the desk. The Avalora-iLink combination replaces those point-to-point links with a single middleware connection that syncs the data continuously across the property's technology stack.

Avalora Cloud PBX is a fully managed cloud phone system designed for hospitality, connecting guest rooms, front desks, reservations teams, staff and common areas. The company positions the product as a way to cut both infrastructure and operating costs while reducing the technology burden for single properties and multi-property portfolios.

The platform already supports direct PMS-PBX integration with more than 100 property management systems. The TigerTMS partnership extends that reach through iLink, which connects every leading PMS, TV system and guest-services platform plus more than 250 other hotel systems through one open, scalable interface.

Who pays, and what changes at the property?

Avalora delivers the PBX as a fully managed cloud service, which shifts phone infrastructure off property-owned hardware and into a subscription operating cost. iLink sits between the PBX and the PMS, so hotels can keep their existing property management system and swap applications in and out without rebuilding integrations each time.

The efficiency case is operational rather than speculative: staff spend less time rekeying guest details, information stays current across departments, and housekeeping status flows between systems without a separate workflow.

Avalora CEO Mark Cederloff framed the deal as part of a broader integration strategy. "Together, the Avalora Cloud PBX and TigerTMS iLink will help staff work more efficiently, keep information current, and provide a more personalized guest experience," he said. "This integration is another step toward our goal of creating truly connected hotels that work better and smarter for guests, staff and hotel ownership."

Cederloff added that the two companies share a philosophy about how hotels should buy technology: "TigerTMS shares our vision of hotels being able to choose technology according to the individual property needs and having their technology stack fully integrated."

Where the footprint sits

Avalora operates across North America, the UK and Europe, a distribution base TigerTMS cited as a reason for the partnership. James Slatter, Managing Director of TigerTMS, pointed to that footprint — "built on decades of hospitality experience" — in explaining the fit.

"Together, we're connecting Cloud PBX and agentic AI with the hotel systems properties already use, so hotels can simplify operations, empower staff and deliver a more seamless guest experience," Slatter said.

The reference to agentic AI signals where the partnership is heading: voice and AI-driven service layers sitting on top of an already-integrated stack of PMS, telephony and guest-services systems. For operators weighing a PBX refresh, the combined offering effectively turns the phone system into a data conduit that feeds whatever PMS and in-room platforms the property already runs.
