Aramark Bets on Premium Clubs and Collectible Cups Across Eight NFL Stadiums

Aramark is rebuilding gameday food across eight NFL venues for 2026: premium clubs, 120 new items in Denver and self-service beer vending at Empower Field.

Aramark Sports + Entertainment is rolling out premium clubs, local restaurant partnerships and self-service beer technology across its eight partner NFL venues for the 2026 season. The push, led by President and CEO Alison Birdwell, treats stadium dining as a core product rather than a concession add-on.

"We strive to elevate every portion of a fan's gameday experience, but the one sector fans are particularly excited about, and one we put an extra emphasis on this season, is our premium spaces," Birdwell said.

For foodservice operators, the NFL buildout previews the same pressures reshaping the broader industry: more transaction opportunities per guest, faster service, and a deliberate balance between premium and accessible price points.

What does premiumization look like in practice?

At Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, the Steelers and Aramark opened the 1933 Club Presented by Heinz, named for the franchise's founding year. It pairs an all-inclusive culinary program with a speakeasy-style environment, an expansive bar, cocktails from a resident mixologist and a dedicated snack and candy wall.

The model borrows from restaurants, hotels and private clubs rather than the old upgraded-seating-plus-buffet formula. In Cincinnati, every existing suite at Paycor Stadium was renovated ahead of the 2026 season, with expanded food and beverage counter space, lounge and grazing formats, customized serving vessels and refreshed menus.

That has direct implications for designers and equipment dealers. Counter space, holding capacity, beverage service and replenishment flow are now part of the guest-facing product.

How does localization translate into revenue?

At Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, local restaurants Guard and Grace, Coperta and A5 Steakhouse will take over the Broncos Legacy Lounge during selected games. Aramark also widened the stadium's Colorado vendor roster with Denver Pops, Aloha Cones, Carrera's Tacos, Cupbop, MAKfam, Mister Oso, Mukja and others.

The mechanism is straightforward: local brands gain exposure to thousands of potential customers per game, while the stadium deepens its connection to the city's food culture.

"Our team works hard to make sure we are delivering fresh experiences for fans each season that leave lasting impressions, while also celebrating the history and culture of our partner's teams, fan bases, and cities," Birdwell noted.

Where does technology fit?

Empower Field is the first Aramark venue to pilot Dispension SmartServ Technology, with three self-service beer vending machines restricted to verified guests 21 and older. The point isn't automation for its own sake — it's shorter lines, better throughput and labor redeployed toward hospitality where personal interaction adds value.

Menu engineering and the collectibles play

Denver alone is adding more than 120 new menu items across concessions and premium spaces, from the two-foot Beast in a Blanket to a nine-slider Wagyu stack called the "Nine in the Box." Pittsburgh's Yinzer Wrap loads kielbasa, pierogies, cheddar and bacon into one package. Cleveland's Huntington Bank Field has a Polish Boy; Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field debuted the Tush Push Tater and an 18-inch Broad Street Beast chalupa. Kansas City, Minnesota and Houston are all leaning on oversized, photogenic, regionally anchored creations.

Houston ties it all to the Texans' 25th season with three new premium areas — the H-Town Loge Boxes, BMW Lone Star Ballroom and BMW M Club Blue — plus collectible beverage containers. Cincinnati has a limited-edition White Bengal Cooler Cup; Denver added Broncos Cooler Cups and souvenir helmet soda cups with player jersey numbers.

Collectibles have become a sales strategy in themselves, converting a drink purchase into branded merchandise.

"Whether it's a fan's first time experiencing our premium amenities or their 100th time, we want their gameday experience to be special, exciting, and unlike anything they experience elsewhere," Birdwell concluded.

The stadium meal is now engineered as an experience, not a transaction — and operators who support these venues can expect the premium buildout model, with its integrated menu, tech and merchandise plays, to keep spreading beyond sports.
