TriMark USA Hires Dave Moore as Chief Supply Chain Officer
TriMark USA names Dave Moore, former CEO of CubeCold and COO at Americold and Neovia, as chief supply chain officer, effective immediately, reporting to CEO James Noonan.
TriMark USA has named Dave Moore its chief supply chain officer, effective immediately, handing a 38-year logistics veteran direct control of the dealership's warehouse operations, demand planning, freight and logistics, transportation, and safety functions. Moore reports to CEO James Noonan.
The appointment consolidates five operational areas under a single executive. That structure matters for a company that supplies design services, equipment and supplies to the foodservice industry, where distribution reliability increasingly determines whether operators can open and remodel on schedule.
Who is Dave Moore?
Moore arrives with a résumé built almost entirely at scale. Most recently he served as CEO of CubeCold, a European cold storage and logistics company operating 30 facilities. Before that, he was COO, North America, at Neovia Logistics, where he oversaw 100 locations. Earlier, he held the same COO role at Americold Logistics, responsible for 194 locations.
Do the math on that background. The three posts put Moore in senior leadership of operations spanning well over 300 facilities across two continents, spanning cold chain, third-party logistics and warehousing. His stated expertise covers supply chain management, warehouse operations, transportation, demand planning and network optimization — the exact functions he now runs at TriMark.
What does the hire signal?
For TriMark's customers — foodservice operators sourcing equipment and supplies — the change points toward tighter integration between national distribution capacity and local delivery execution. Noonan framed the hire in exactly those terms.
"We're thrilled to welcome Dave to TriMark," Noonan said in the announcement. "His proven track record of integrating complex operations and improving customer service and performance will advance TriMark's efforts to combine national scale with locally executed, white-glove service that delivers best-in-class solutions for our customers."
The quote does the analytical work here. TriMark is a dealership, not a carrier or a warehouse company, yet it has chosen to elevate supply chain to a C-suite discipline with a dedicated officer. When a distribution business centralizes warehouse, freight, planning, transportation and safety under one leader with cold-chain credentials, it is betting that fulfillment precision — not just catalog breadth — is where it can differentiate.
For operators, the practical question is whether equipment and supply deliveries become more predictable. A chief supply chain officer with Moore's network-optimization background typically focuses on demand planning accuracy and route consolidation, the levers that reduce backorders and missed install windows.
Why now
The foodservice equipment channel has been under pressure on the same fronts Moore specializes in: freight cost, warehouse throughput and demand forecasting. TriMark did not disclose financial terms of the appointment or specific performance targets tied to the role.
What is clear is the scope. Moore's mandate covers everything from warehouse floor safety to transportation strategy, unified for the first time under his leadership at the company.
The move takes effect with no transition period, suggesting TriMark wanted immediate operational authority in place. Moore's first tasks weren't specified, but his track record — integrating 100-location and 194-location networks at Neovia and Americold — indicates where his attention will likely land first.
