Topgolf is replacing its legacy event menu with four chef-driven buffet concepts, bookable now for events hosted October 28, 2026, and beyond — the company's first major update to its event menu program in recent years, timed to land ahead of peak holiday booking season.

The rollout targets Topgolf's most lucrative demand segment: corporate groups, holiday parties and social gatherings. Alongside the menus, the company is refreshing its TopContender team-competition game and reworking catering operations, including a shift from one buffet per 50 guests to one per 30.

"Events are core to the Topgolf experience, and this update takes that experience to the next level, right as we head into our busiest events season of the year," said David McKillips, CEO at Topgolf. "This evolution gives planners more flexibility and a smoother experience from booking to the last bite. These enhancements, paired with an elevated culinary program and streamlined execution, will continue to set Topgolf apart as the ultimate venue for celebrations, corporate events and everything in between."

Four menus replace one

The legacy pre-fixed event menu gives way to four customizable buffet formats:

• Modern Mediterranean — a build-your-own salad and bowl bar with chicken shawarma, grilled steak and lemon butter shrimp, plus Mediterranean sides and sauces.
• Cantina Kitchen — a southwest taco, nacho and bowl bar with chicken tinga and fajita beef proteins.
• Taste of Topgolf — shareables including sliders and a Roman-crust pizza spread with global flavors and vegetarian options.
• Chef's Table — a premium entrée menu featuring beef tenderloin and buttery herb salmon, positioned for milestone celebrations and executive events.

Planners can extend any menu with a new à la carte list of add-on proteins, sliders, sides and whole pizzas. The list includes gluten-friendly, vegan and vegetarian options, a menu-engineering play aimed at accommodating dietary needs across large groups without custom ordering.

TopContender goes fully tech-enabled

The refreshed TopContender experience supports both team and individual scoring. Guests scan a QR code at the end of the game for instant results across the entire group, even when spread across multiple bays, and groups can compete head-to-head against other Topgolf locations across town or across the country. The format replaces a less connected version of the competition and gives corporate planners a measurable, leaderboard-style activity for team-building events.

Topgolf is also adding entertainment beyond the bays: interactive augmented darts in bar and lounge spaces, family-friendly arcades and redemption game rooms, with each venue carrying a curated mix of sports and arcade classics, racing games and immersive experiences.

Holiday menus and booking incentives

For the 2026 holiday season, Topgolf debuts two limited-time menus running October 28, 2026, through January 31, 2027. Holiday Taste of Topgolf adds four seasonal items to the core shareables menu, including Prime Rib Sliders and Lobster Mac and Cheese. Festive Fare is a curated, pre-fixed menu featuring those items plus Coconut Shrimp, Chicken Potstickers, Italian Meatballs and a Holiday Dessert Duo of mini beignets and churro bites.

Three promotions target group bookings:

• Holiday Bonus Card: guests attending a holiday event between November 1 and December 31 receive a $15 game play bonus card, redeemable through March 31, 2027 — a built-in return-visit incentive.
• Merry Mondays: groups booking a 2+ bay holiday party on a December Monday get half-off game play, available at all U.S. venues for events hosted November 30 through December 28.
• Fore the Holidays Early Bird Incentives: planners booking a holiday party for 25+ guests between November 30 and December 30 by October 31 can pick an exclusive perk for their event.

Operations retooled around the buffets

To support the new menus, Topgolf has introduced venue-wide operational upgrades. New event tables remain on the Teeline and eliminate the need for linens and storage transport — a direct labor and logistics saving. Buffet displays and serving equipment are modernized, and the service model now assigns a dedicated Service Support Lead to set up and maintain each buffet, freeing event staff to focus on guest experience.

The most concrete operational change is capacity: buffet frequency rises to one buffet per 30 guests, up from one per 50, a move the company says will improve freshness and reduce wait times for larger groups.

The year-round event menus are available now for events hosted October 28, 2026, and beyond, with holiday menus and promotions running through January 31, 2027 — setting up Topgolf to measure whether the upgraded event program can convert early holiday bookings into repeat group business into 2027.
