Sonesta has launched a Meetings Collection across 25 properties, consolidating group and meetings business under one branded product as it competes for corporate event volume.

Sonesta International Hotels has launched a Meetings Collection, a dedicated group-business product now live across 25 properties in its portfolio.

The rollout targets the group and meetings segment — a revenue line where hotels compete on package clarity, dedicated sales staffing and predictable pricing rather than room-night rates alone. Sonesta is applying the Collection as a branded overlay: the 25 participating properties carry a standardized meetings offering under one name, which lets corporate planners and third-party booking channels source venues across the portfolio with consistent terms.

What does this change for group buyers?

For planners, the practical shift is consolidation. Instead of evaluating meeting capabilities property by property, buyers can now contract through a single flagged set of 25 Sonesta hotels. For operators, the economics work through volume aggregation: branded meetings programs typically raise group RFP win rates by shortening the sourcing decision, and they concentrate catering and banquet revenue — high-margin F&B business — inside flagged units.

The move also positions Sonesta to compete for mid-size corporate meetings, a segment where rival full-service brands have long run named meetings products backed by dedicated sales teams and published package pricing.

The launch follows a period of aggressive portfolio expansion for Sonesta, which now spans multiple brands across franchised and company-operated hotels in North America and international markets. The Meetings Collection extends that scale logic into the group segment: 25 properties give the program immediate geographic coverage without requiring new buildouts.

Watch whether Sonesta expands the Collection beyond the initial 25 properties as group demand continues its post-pandemic recovery.
