Le Colonial Delray Beach Will Serve a $105 Duck-Centered Thanksgiving Prix Fixe
Le Colonial Delray Beach opens on Thanksgiving for the first time with a $105 Hanoi Roasted Duck prix fixe, a $55 kids menu and DoorDash and Uber Eats delivery.

A $105-per-person prix fixe anchored by a tea-cured Hudson Valley duck will headline Le Colonial Delray Beach's first-ever Thanksgiving Day service on Thursday, November 26 — a holiday experiment in menu engineering that swaps turkey for Vietnamese-French flavors in one of downtown Delray Beach's most polished dining rooms.
The restaurant, an outpost of the Le Colonial French-Vietnamese group, has never opened on Thanksgiving before. The bet is that enough South Florida diners will trade the traditional bird for something else entirely.
What does the menu actually look like?
The centerpiece is the Hanoi Roasted Thanksgiving Duck, roasted after a tea cure and seasoned with Sichuan pepper, coriander and thyme. It arrives with shareable sides built to extend the duck across the table: duck confit with roasted wood ear mushrooms, ginger and tteok gnocchi; steamed bao; pickled radish; tamarind-ginger sauce; Chinese sausage–mushroom sticky rice; and roasted sweet potatoes finished with fish sauce, soy caramel, toasted hazelnut and lime leaf.
The first course gives diners a choice between two appetizers:
- Vietnamese Wagyu Beef Sausage in Betel Leaf, served with coconut-miso dipping sauce and house pickles
- Duck Dumpling Soup, built on mushroom consommé with Napa cabbage, brown beech mushrooms, sesame and bok choy
Dessert is the Spiced Amber from Pastry Chef Marta Kantorowicz — a five-spice pumpkin cremeux layered with salted pecan praline, Vietnamese coffee biscuit and maple mirror glaze. It's the one course that leans into familiar holiday flavor, reworked in the restaurant's idiom.
The Thanksgiving prix fixe runs alongside the regular à la carte dinner menu in the main dining room, so the holiday program adds revenue without displacing the core menu.
What about families and off-premise?
A children's prix fixe is priced at $55. It opens with pan-crisped chicken dumplings or crispy shrimp and pork rolls, moves to a choice of lemongrass-roasted chicken, honey-miso roasted salmon, garlic noodles with shrimp or chicken fried rice, and closes with vanilla crème brûlée or an ice cream sundae — a kid-tier build that keeps food cost low while pulling the whole household into the reservation.
The restaurant is also covering the off-premise channel. The full Thanksgiving experience will be available for delivery or pickup through DoorDash and Uber Eats from noon to 7:30 p.m., nearly the full span of its 12-to-8 p.m. holiday hours. That gives Le Colonial two shots at the Thanksgiving check: the seated three-course guest at $105 and the at-home celebrant ordering through third-party platforms, with the commission costs that model implies.
Reservations and to-go orders run through OpenTable or by phone at 561-566-1800.
The move signals how upscale independents are approaching holidays they once ceded to home kitchens — premium protein, family pricing and delivery all in one playbook. Whether duck at triple digits becomes a Delray Beach tradition will show in next year's calendar.
