Inn-Flow, the hotel profit management platform founded in 2009, has appointed Lokesh Seth as Chief Executive Officer, tasking a SaaS executive with 25-plus years of experience with the company's next growth phase and its push into AI.

Founder John Erhart, who started the Raleigh, N.C.-based company to solve problems he hit while running his family's hotel management company, becomes Executive Chairman. He will stay close to the leadership team and to customers, the company said.

Who is the new CEO?

Seth arrives with a record of scaling enterprise software businesses. Most recently he led Hazeltree, a treasury and liquidity software provider for alternative investment firms, through what the company describes as a transformation that accelerated growth and substantially improved profitability.

Before that, he helped scale DealCloud from under $2 million to more than $200 million in annual recurring revenue. That run included the company's acquisition by Intapp, Intapp's 2021 IPO, and Seth's own service as Intapp's President of Financial Services. Earlier still, he helped build iLevel into a leading analytics platform for private capital.

The common thread, Inn-Flow argues, is software that connects data, workflows and performance for complex, multi-entity businesses. Hotel management companies running portfolios of properties face the same structural problem.

"What drew me to Inn-Flow is that it was built by an operator, for operators, and that shows in how deeply customers rely on it," Seth said. "Hotel management companies don't need more disconnected tools. They need a connected platform that turns their data into better decisions. The opportunity ahead is to build on that foundation and put AI to work in ways that save operators real time and money."

Note what that quote does not say. No targets, no timelines, no named AI products. The promise of saving "real time and money" is a direction, not a commitment.

What does the platform actually do?

Inn-Flow connects accounting, labor, procurement, payroll, facilities, and business intelligence in one system of record. The pitch to hotel management companies is control over their two largest costs: labor and procurement. AI agents embedded across the platform reduce manual work and surface issues earlier, according to the company.

Developed in 2009 inside a hotel management company, the product launched to the wider industry in 2014.

The leadership change builds on existing momentum, the announcement states, pointing to three developments:

  • The acquisition of Lilo, bringing AI-powered procurement into the platform
  • Continued investment in product innovation
  • A strengthened executive leadership team

The announcement does not disclose the acquisition price, revenue figures, customer counts, or headcount. Those omissions make the "momentum" claim hard to verify.

"I started building Inn-Flow to solve the challenges I experienced firsthand in hotel operations," Erhart said. "We've built something special, and Lokesh brings the technology expertise and proven leadership to take it even further. I'm excited about what's ahead and look forward to remaining closely involved as Executive Chairman, focused on our customers and the hotel operators we serve."

A founder moving to chairman while a growth-stage SaaS operator takes the helm is a familiar pattern, and Seth's DealCloud record — from under $2 million to more than $200 million in ARR — signals Inn-Flow's board wants scale, not stewardship.

The test now is whether AI agents embedded in labor and procurement workflows can deliver the measurable savings Seth promises, at a time when hotel operators face persistent labor cost pressure and tightening margins.
