IDS Next Puts FX Spa Wellness ERP on Oracle Marketplace

IDS Next's FX Spa wellness ERP is now live on Oracle Marketplace with two-way OHIP integration into OPERA PMS, covering real-time bookings and folio posting.

IDS Next has listed FX Spa, its wellness ERP, on Oracle Marketplace, giving hotel operators a two-way OHIP connection to Oracle's OPERA property management system. The integration handles three jobs that spa-desk staff often do manually: real-time booking, guest profile sync, and folio posting.

What does that mean in practice? A guest books a massage, the appointment lands in the spa's schedule without re-entry, and the charge posts straight to the room folio through OPERA. Guest profiles stay synchronized across both systems, so the hotel and its spa work from one record rather than two.

Who pays and what it replaces

The deployment runs through Oracle Cloud Marketplace, which positions FX Spa as an add-on purchase for properties already committed to Oracle's hospitality stack. It replaces standalone spa booking tools and the manual reconciliation that comes with them — the clipboard, the separate terminal, the end-of-day folio matching. IDS Next pitches this as folding wellness revenue into the broader hotel technology ecosystem rather than running it as a sideline.

Rajesh Yadav, Chief Operating Officer of IDS Next, framed the listing as a distribution play: "We're excited to bring FX Spa to Oracle customers worldwide. Businesses using FX Spa will be able to manage their wellness facilities more efficiently within their broader technology ecosystem."

The scale behind the product

FX Spa is cloud-native and consolidates appointments, resources, and day-to-day operations for spas and wellness outlets on a single platform. The customer list already includes heavyweight hospitality names:

  • ITC Hotels and Taj Hotels in India
  • Kaya Kalp and Jiva Spa, the spa brands tied to those groups
  • Antara Senior Living
  • Kuriftu Hotels & Resorts in Ethiopia
  • Sentrim Hotels & Lodges in Kenya

That gives IDS Next a reference base stretching from Indian luxury chains to East African resort operators — useful proof points for a product now pitching itself to Oracle's global install base.

A bigger ERP footprint

FX Spa is one piece of IDS Next's broader hospitality ERP portfolio, which spans hotels, restaurants, wellness, and banquets. The company's numbers are substantial: it powers more than 300,000 rooms across 220-plus hotel chains, 25,000-plus POS outlets, 300-plus wellness and leisure venues, and 6,500-plus banquet venues. It maintains integrations with more than 350 technology partners and operates in over 50 countries across Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Rim.

The customer portfolio includes Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Taj Hotels, ITC Hotels, Choice Hotels, and Louvre Hotels Group. For context, 300,000 rooms under management puts IDS Next in the same weight class as mid-tier global PMS vendors, even if its brand recognition outside Asia and Africa is thinner.

What comes next

The Oracle Marketplace listing is essentially a channel expansion — IDS Next making its wellness product easier to buy for the OPERA user base, which spans independents and global chains alike. With wellness increasingly treated as a revenue center rather than an amenity, expect more hotel tech vendors to push spa integrations that promise unified folios and guest data. Operators evaluating the move will want to weigh implementation costs against the labor hours currently spent reconciling spa charges by hand.
