HFTP Names Inntelo AI as AI Partner for HITEC and Member Media
HFTP taps Inntelo AI as its official AI partner, putting multilingual agents in front of 100,000 subscribers, 83 chapters and 6,100 HITEC attendees; the platform runs on 30,000 hotel rooms and lifts in-stay revenue 32%.

HFTP has named Inntelo AI as its official AI partner, putting the vendor's multilingual agents in front of the association's roughly 100,000 media subscribers, 83 chapters in 46 countries, and the record 6,100 attendees who packed HITEC in San Antonio in June 2026.
The Austin, Texas-based association, founded in 1952, will run Inntelo's platform across its website, four news titles — Hospitality Upgrade, Hotel Online, Clubs Online and HFTP News — and its flagship HITEC tradeshow, which drew a record 400-plus exhibiting companies this year. Agents will field member, attendee and exhibitor queries 24/7 in more than 50 languages, routing any request that needs human judgment to the relevant HFTP team.
What does the partnership cover?
HFTP's deployment extends Inntelo AI's hospitality footprint, which spans more than 30,000 rooms across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America. The vendor launched what it calls the UK's first AI agent in a live hotel environment more than two years ago.
Active sites include CityBlue Hotels, described by the company as Africa's fastest-growing hotel group; CIEL Dubai Marina, part of IHG's Vignette Collection and operated by The First Group Hospitality; and The Gate London City, owned and operated by EQ Group, which paired the rollout with an in-house upskilling program.
What are the operator-level numbers?
Inntelo frames its pitch around measurable hotel P&L impact. Across customer sites, the platform automates 98% of guest interactions, cuts 17 minutes off average enquiry handling time, and lifts in-stay revenue by 32% on average. The company says its client base has more than doubled in recent months, though it has not disclosed incremental room count or contract value.
Why HFTP chose an industry-native vendor
The partnership plugs into HFTP's Hospitality AI Collective, a working group of more than 30 hospitality AI experts with liaisons from more than ten associations, including the American Hotel & Lodging Association, AAHOA, HSMAI and HTNG. The collective focuses on shared standards, best practice and what HFTP frames as responsible, industry-specific AI adoption.
"Our members and exhibitors expect HFTP to show what AI can actually do for hospitality, not just talk about it," said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO of HFTP. "We chose Inntelo AI because the team comes from inside the industry and has proven the technology in working hotels. Putting these agents across our website, our media and HITEC lets our community use AI directly and judge it on results."
For Inntelo, the alignment carries weight beyond the marquee logo. Its product positioning targets the front-desk call queue and after-hours email volume that erodes labor productivity, then layers conversational automation on top.
"Hospitality will always stay human first, and any AI we adopt must be designed from within the industry," said Asif Alidina, co-founder and CEO of Inntelo AI. "Our partnership with HFTP is a great validation for Inntelo AI as we continue to lead the way in AI-native hospitality technology that serves guests, teams and businesses equally."
What changes at HITEC and beyond?
For attendees, the immediate test will be whether HITEC's on-site support — registration, exhibitor lookups, schedule queries — runs through a 50-language agent before reaching a human. For member hotels, the rollout gives Inntelo a second credibility stamp alongside its 30,000-room deployment benchmark.
The next public proof point arrives when HFTP publishes post-event data on enquiry volume handled by agents versus humans at the association — a benchmark competitors and operator members are likely to watch.
