FCSI The Americas and NAFEM Show Anchor Early 2027 Trade Calendar
FCSI The Americas runs Feb. 9-10, 2027 in Orlando, with the NAFEM Show following Feb. 11-13 at the same convention center.
Two of the foodservice equipment industry's largest gatherings land in Orlando within the same week in February 2027, giving suppliers and operators a compressed window for the year's biggest product cycle.
The FCSI The Americas Symposium runs Feb. 9-10, 2027, at the Orange County Convention Center. It is organized by the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI), the professional body for design and management consultants. The association lists event details at fcsita.org.
The NAFEM Show follows immediately, Feb. 11-13, 2027, at the same venue. It is staged by the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM), the trade group representing makers of commercial foodservice equipment and supplies.
The back-to-back scheduling is deliberate and familiar. Consultants attending the symposium can walk straight into NAFEM's exhibit floor two days later, compressing travel budgets and vendor meetings into a single trip.
Why does the equipment calendar matter to operators?
Trade show timing drives procurement cycles. Equipment buyers typically see new product lines, negotiate manufacturer programs and set capital expenditure plans at these events. For multi-unit operators, a February showcase means spec decisions made in the first quarter influence kitchen builds and remodels through the rest of the year.
The Orlando dates also concentrate the consultant channel. FCSI members influence equipment specification on design-and-build projects, so manufacturers treat the symposium as a sales-pipeline event rather than a branding exercise.
What comes next in 2027?
The trade calendar extends beyond February, though the full 2027 slate of major events — including the additional shows the industry typically tracks — will fill in as associations confirm dates and venues. Equipment suppliers, dealers, consultants and operator purchasing teams should lock Orlando hotel blocks early; NAFEM's show cycle draws a large share of the industry's buyer base to one building.
Expect 2027 coverage to expand as more associations publish dates, and expect Orlando's convention infrastructure to do heavy lifting in the first quarter.
