Bulldog & Co. Launches as Southern California Manufacturers' Rep Group

Veterans Chris Cuffari, Amy Hoyle and Jennifer Galanis launch Bulldog & Co., a rep group covering tabletop, equipment, supplies and design for Southern California hospitality.

Three industry veterans launched a new manufacturers' representation group today, aiming to serve the hospitality and foodservice sector across Southern California.

Chris Cuffari, Amy Hoyle and Jennifer Galanis formed Bulldog & Co., a rep group that will cover tabletop, foodservice equipment and supplies, design, and related product categories. The group's client base spans hotels, resorts, restaurants and clubs throughout the region.

The launch adds a new option for manufacturers seeking distribution in one of the country's most concentrated foodservice markets. Rep groups like Bulldog & Co. act as intermediaries between manufacturers and operators or dealers, handling product placement, specification work and design support — functions that directly affect how operators source equipment and outfit new or remodeled units.

By spanning tabletop, equipment, supplies and design categories, the group positions itself to support full projects rather than single product lines. That breadth matters for hotels, resorts and clubs, where tabletop programs, back-of-house equipment and interior design decisions typically run through separate procurement channels and can stretch across multiple budget cycles.

Southern California's hospitality market — with its dense concentration of hotels, destination resorts, private clubs and independent restaurants — has long supported a competitive field of multi-line rep agencies. Bulldog & Co. enters that field with founders who describe themselves as industry veterans, bringing established relationships to a business where manufacturer line cards and dealer networks determine reach.

The group's formation points to continued activity in the equipment and supplies channel, where rep groups consolidate manufacturer lines for regional coverage and often serve as the first point of contact for operators specifying everything from smallwares to full kitchen builds.

For operators in the region, a new multi-line rep group means an additional sourcing channel for equipment, tabletop and design services — the categories that shape opening budgets, replacement cycles and, ultimately, unit-level capital costs.

Bulldog & Co. did not announce specific manufacturer lines or client accounts at launch. The group says it will serve the hospitality and foodservice industry throughout Southern California, with additional details on its line card expected as the agency establishes itself in the market.
