Aimbridge Hospitality has signed on to manage a hotel portfolio owned through a joint venture between Prospect Ridge and Fulcrum Hospitality.

The deal moves the JV's properties under Aimbridge's third-party management platform, expanding a portfolio that already spans full-service and select-service brands across North America. Aimbridge, one of the largest third-party hotel management companies in the world, routinely operates assets for institutional owners, private equity groups and family offices — and the Prospect Ridge–Fulcrum arrangement fits that owner-side model, in which management companies run the hotels while the JV partners hold the real estate and brand agreements.

For Prospect Ridge and Fulcrum Hospitality, handing operations to Aimbridge trades direct control for scale. Large third-party managers can push purchasing power across hundreds of properties, centralize revenue management and spread back-office costs — levers that matter most when labor markets stay tight and debt service on hotel assets remains expensive.

Neither party disclosed the number of properties in the portfolio, the brands involved, or the financial terms of the management agreement. Aimbridge has not said whether the contract covers specific markets or the JV's entire holdings.

The transaction extends a pattern of consolidation in hotel management, where owners increasingly consolidate operations under a handful of large third-party operators to capture cost efficiencies and standardized performance systems. Expect Aimbridge to fold the Prospect Ridge–Fulcrum assets into its existing infrastructure — sales, distribution and staffing pipelines — as the management transition takes hold.
