Aimbridge Hospitality has assumed management of 10 institutional-grade hotels across the United States, HOTELS Magazine reports.

The properties join a portfolio that already ranks among the largest third-party hotel management platforms in North America. Aimbridge operates hotels under a wide range of brand flags as well as independent properties, serving institutional owners such as REITs, private equity firms and real estate investment funds.

The designation "institutional-grade" signals the ownership profile behind the transaction: assets held by professional investment groups rather than individual or family owners. For Aimbridge, winning management contracts on such assets typically means competing on RevPAR performance, cost control and owner reporting — the metrics institutional investors track quarterly.

Third-party management has grown steadily as institutional owners seek scale-driven efficiencies in labor scheduling, procurement and distribution that individual operators struggle to match. Each added contract spreads Aimbridge's fixed corporate overhead across more rooms, which is the core economic logic of the management-company model.

The company did not disclose the identities of the 10 hotels, their brands, their markets or the owners involved in the reported deal.
