TrustYou Kills the Dashboard, Puts an AI Analyst on Every Plan
TrustYou's Ask TrustYou, live today on every hotel plan from Lite to Enterprise, replaces guest-feedback dashboards with a conversational AI analyst that cites evidence and proposes actions.
TrustYou launched Ask TrustYou today, an AI conversational analytics tool that replaces traditional guest-feedback dashboards, and the company included it on every hotel plan from Lite to Enterprise from day one — no enterprise contract required.
The release, announced from Munich on 6 October 2026, is the largest in TrustYou's recent history and marks a structural shift in how hotel teams access guest data. Instead of filtering charts or waiting on reports, any employee with a TrustYou login — front desk clerk or CEO — types a question in plain language and receives an analyst-style answer with evidence and a recommended next step.
What does it replace, and who pays?
Ask TrustYou replaces the dashboard layer that has defined hospitality analytics for roughly thirty years, along with the reporting labor behind it. TrustYou says analysis of this kind has historically sat behind either an enterprise contract or an analyst's salary. Now a single property on the Lite plan gets the same capability as a global group on Enterprise, with a free monthly allowance of chats and expansion packs priced openly on the TrustYou website.
One beta customer, a European hotel group, cut monthly guest-feedback reporting from most of a working day to well under an hour. That labor saving is the concrete operator-level case: fewer hours spent compiling, more spent acting.
How does it differ from a general AI assistant?
TrustYou's argument rests on data scope. A general assistant retrieves one relevant passage and reads it back — workable for a single document, inadequate for a hotel group whose feedback is tens of thousands of short, contradictory comments in a dozen languages. Ask TrustYou reads every review before answering. When a hundred guests praise breakfast and twenty complain about the coffee, the answer states both and shows where each came from.
The system draws on eighteen years of hospitality sentiment and semantic analysis, according to the company. It understands what a sentiment score means for a property, compares properties within a portfolio, tracks topics over time, and accepts questions in the manager's or the guest's language.
Every answer is grounded only in the hotel's own guest reviews inside the TrustYou Customer Experience Platform — never the open web, never another hotel's data — and each answer displays its date range and reasoning so operators can verify conclusions rather than take them on trust. This first version deliberately covers guest reviews only, the largest and most public feedback body a hotel holds.
What did beta operators do with it?
More than a dozen hotel groups across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific ran the tool in beta. Use cases were operational, not exploratory:
- A duty manager checked what arriving guests had said about check-in before a busy weekend.
- A GM facing slipping breakfast scores at four properties pulled up the dishes, the timing, and guests' own words before his morning meeting ended — and fixed the issue that week.
- One group carried the answers directly into a board presentation.
Because Ask TrustYou works as a conversation rather than a search box, each follow-up builds on the prior answer: from why cleanliness scores dropped at three hotels, to which shifts, to what guests actually wrote, to what to do about it. Conversations persist, so an investigation started one week can be reopened the next. Asked for next steps, the system returns a recommended action plan specific to the properties in question.
What did TrustYou's leadership say?
"The commercial side of a hotel has had analysts for thirty years. The guest side has had spreadsheets, even though guests produce as much data as bookings do," said Benjamin Jost, founder and CEO of TrustYou. "Ask TrustYou does not give hoteliers a better report. It ends the report. You ask, you get the answer, you act. That is a different industry than the one we had last week."
Chief Revenue Officer Steven Dow framed the pricing decision as deliberate: "Technology that changes how people work should not be rationed to the customers with the biggest contracts, which is why every hotel customer gets it from today."
What comes next?
Ask TrustYou is live now in the TrustYou Customer Experience Platform for customers worldwide. TrustYou, which has served more than 100,000 hospitality businesses since 2008 and operates in over 165 countries, has staked the release on reviews as the starting dataset; whether the conversational layer extends to the survey, transaction, and messaging data held in its CXP and CDP platforms will define the next competitive move.
