Halloween Menus Land in September as Chains Chase Seasonal Sales

Pizza Hut's My Haunt Box returns Oct. 5 with a $6.99 exclusive drink as chains launch Halloween menus weeks early, while pumpkin spreads from Robeks to STK's $59 Pumpkin Ravioli & Crab.

Pizza Hut has relaunched My Haunt Box, its customizable Halloween meal, roughly a month before the Oct. 31 holiday — the clearest signal yet that operators are front-loading spooky-season promotions to capture limited-time-offer sales before the calendar catches up. The box bundles brand signatures including the Personal Pan Pizza, Melts, Wings and sides, and the drinks lineup adds a Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch exclusive to Pizza Hut, starting Oct. 5 at $6.99.

Dave & Buster's is running a four-item limited-time Halloween menu across its eat-and-play venues. Summon the Fire Sauce pairs Buffalo with chile for chicken and dippables; Love at First Bite, a chocolate peanut butter dessert, and caramel-topped Funnel Cake Fries cover sweets. Themed cocktails carry the theatrical load: Freak Show blends spirits and fruit flavors with a creepy garnish, Bad Medicine drips syringe-injected raspberry purée into vodka and melon liqueur, and The Possession mixes black cherry and tequila with an edible glitter rim. The nonalcoholic Cauldron Cream Soda serves vanilla cream soda over dry-ice bubbles with whipped cream, sprinkles and a gummy worm.

Paris Baguette is splitting its Halloween lineup between heat and sweet. The Ghost Pepper Chocolate Marble Mochi Donut and Ghost Pepper Iced Hot Chocolate both carry a ghost pepper kick, while the Halloween Scream Donut, Spider Mochi Donut and Dirt & Worms Chocolate Chiffon Cake target the cookies-and-cream and gummy-worm crowd.

Fuzzy's Taco Shop has brought back its Draco collection with new builds for Halloween 2026. The Draco'rrito fries a cheese-crusted flour tortilla around beef, rice, vampiro-style sauce, sour cream, vampiro queso and red tortilla strips, while the Draco Taco II nests a crispy red shell in a cheese-topped flour tortilla with beef, garlic sauce, avocado, feta, cilantro and lime. Two frozen drinks round it out: the Drac a 'Rita rimmed with black salt and garnished with vampire teeth, and Midnight Matador, a blood orange Margarita riff.

Del Taco is leaning on a Cheetos Flamin' Hot brand partnership across six items, from Flamin' Hot Queso & Chips — the queso blanco also topping Loaded Fries with seasoned beef, cheddar, tomatoes, jalapeños and sour cream — to a Flamin' Hot Queso Beef Roller, two burritos, Loaded Nachos and Crunchy Cheese Flavored Snacks. Chester's Chicken stretches the theme thinner, tying its Garlic Parmesan Bone-In Wings and Chicken Bites to vampire lore; both run through Halloween and beyond.

Pumpkin is arriving alongside the ghouls. Robeks launched the Perfectly Pumpkin Smoothie, blending pumpkin purée, banana, almond butter, non-fat frozen yogurt, almond milk, agave and a proprietary spice mix. Honeygrow is seasoning its signature honeybar with Pumpkin Spice — pumpkin mousse, roasted apples, maple granules and candied pecans among the options — through Jan. 4, 2027, and has added Creamy Sriracha Tahini Stir-Fry and a Honey Sriracha Tahini Salad as savory LTOs.

The pumpkin push now reaches upscale full-service. STK priced its Pumpkin Ravioli & Crab with sage butter, Champagne confit mushrooms, pecorino and pine nuts at $59, with a Pumpkin Espresso Martini and Pumpkin Spice Margarita at $23 each, Pumpkin Pie at $17 and pumpkin spice Tres Leches Cake at $20 — premium pricing that shows seasonal flavor can anchor a check-building strategy, not just a traffic play. Melting Pot added Pumpkin Spice White Chocolate Fondue with spiced pumpkin caramel and graham cracker crunch, plus Cranberry Pecan Cheese Fondue built on Butterkäse and Fontina and an Apple Almond Salad with Gorgonzola.

Coffee is driving beverage innovation beyond the season. Krispy Kreme is converting its Original Glazed doughnut into a coffee-glazed version through National Coffee Day on Sept. 29, pairing it with a free small or medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase that day; Churro Doughnut Dots with dulce de leche run while supplies last. Tropical Smoothie Cafe's Salted Caramel Javablender Smoothie — cold brew, caramel, Chobani Sweet Cream Zero Sugar creamer and nonfat yogurt with salted caramel crunch — extends well past the holiday. Juice It Up built a Cold Brew Chia Pudding Parfait with Hemp Plus Granola, returned its Horchata Smoothie, debuted a White Chocolate Raspberry Smoothie and added two avocado toasts. Jollibee went a different direction with Calamansi Lemonade and a blended Calamansi Lemonade Freeze.

Brand collaborations continue as a low-risk flavor pipeline. PopUp Bagels and olive oil producer Graza launch two limited-time smears Wednesday — fittingly National Extra Virgin Olive Oil Day: Zesty Caesar Cream Cheese, inspired by Graza's new chips, and Herby Olive Oil Butter.

With Halloween items landing in September and pumpkin programs stretching into January, operators are compressing seasonal calendars into longer, overlapping windows — a structure designed to keep LTO traffic building straight through the fourth quarter.
