Cloudbeds has joined the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Alliance Partner Program, making its unified hospitality platform the recommended hotel management solution for more than 625 luxury member properties across over 80 countries. The San Diego-based company announced the affiliation September 29.

The designation gives Cloudbeds a direct commercial channel into one of the largest collections of independent luxury hotels, resorts, residences, and hotel groups in the world. For Preferred's member hotels, it means access to a platform pitched as a replacement for fragmented systems spanning operations, distribution, guest experience, and revenue marketing — four functions Cloudbeds consolidates on a single data model.

That consolidation is the economic argument. With operations, distribution, guest data, and revenue marketing running on shared, real-time data, hotels can act on demand signals without reconciling separate systems. Cloudbeds layers AI-driven insights and automation on top of that foundation — tools the company says help properties anticipate demand, optimize pricing, and personalize guest engagement, the levers that most directly move RevPAR and direct-booking share.

The platform's open architecture supports specialist integrations, including the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Booking Engine, and multi-property growth — a flexibility point aimed at management companies and ownership groups running portfolios rather than single assets.

"Preferred Hotels & Resorts is a defining name in luxury hospitality, bringing together extraordinary properties with an exceptional commitment to service," said Rafael Blanes, Chief Growth Officer at Cloudbeds. "Hotels of this distinction deserve technology that matches their ambition and the standards their guests expect. This partnership is about giving member hotels the confidence and capacity to grow while keeping their teams focused on the care and attention that define luxury hospitality."

For Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the deal extends an Alliance Partner Program that functions as a curated procurement channel for its membership. The brand positions itself as a strategic advantage for owners, operators, and management companies through brand prestige and global operating scale, supporting member hotels with strategic sales, integrated marketing, comprehensive revenue management, global reservations connectivity, and progressive distribution technology. Vendor partners are a piece of that bundle.

"At Preferred Hotels & Resorts, we are committed to providing our member hotels with innovative resources that help them operate more effectively and compete successfully in an evolving marketplace," said Michael Osgood, Vice President, Partnerships, Preferred Hotels & Resorts. "Cloudbeds offers flexible technology solutions that support operational efficiency, enhance guest engagement, and create opportunities for business growth, making them a valuable addition to our Alliance Partner Program."

Cloudbeds, founded in 2012, says tens of thousands of properties in more than 150 countries use its system. Hotel Tech Report has ranked it a top Hotel Management System, PMS, and Channel Manager — and a Best Place to Work — for eight consecutive years.

The partnership signals where independent luxury operators are directing technology spend: toward consolidation and pricing intelligence rather than point solutions. As Cloudbeds deepens its foothold with Preferred's membership, expect adoption among those 625-plus properties to serve as a test of whether unified platforms can deliver measurable revenue gains at the high end of the independent segment.
